In this series called ART IS A LOVE LANGUAGE we explore the symbiotic relationship between the many facets of love and how they drive us to create, to become and to excel. This short film with Wachira we explore how water not only gives life to the planet, but closer to home…it’s the basis and source of connection that exists between creators Mnikelo & Eagle.
In the photo series with Adam Yusuf titled 'Afro-Futuristic Royalty: What Happens After Wakanda?', we explore what happens when the celebration and chants of Wakanda die out, what remains? A royal couple isolated after everyone leaves after 'Wakanda fever' has gone.
We shot the video in the Kenyan Coastal Town of Diani and the endless salt pans of Lake Magadi, in collaboration with the two of Kenya’s biggest talents behind the lens; Rodney Wachira Kamau aka Roadman on video & Adam Yusuf on stills.
